Abuelos is my number one favorite mexican restuarant in the world. It has been since I was in high school. The chips, the salsa, the Island Margarita (not in high school), and of course the incredible Chicken Medallions. I get it every time. If I got to go more, I would probably choose something else, but I can't waste my occasional visit on experimenting with the menu. There are only a few locations in the area, so if you pass one -stop. It's not close for us, but well worth the drive! It's important to note, the medallions are never ordered with rice, beans, or papas, but always with double spinach! Abuelos' creamed spinach is worthy of it's own post, but I'll spare you. Try it, you will become a believer.

Abuelos
